Scarf Ministry

We give thanks for the more than 4,500 scarves (plus hats and other items), that we have distributed across the community through various social service agencies and the Jubilee Center over the past eight years. Each item is new and hand made and intended to make a connection between the crafter and the recipient. People have been very happy to make a selection conforming to their taste. Our crafters come from all over Rockford and beyond. Emmanuel, Court Street United Methodist, and Holy Family Catholic contributed this year. A group of crafters from Rock Valley College ‘s senior citizen program has delivered hundreds over the years. People from as far as New York, California, Minnesota and Colorado are our contributors. We are truly blessed that so many have answered the call.
