Sunday, May 10 was the last day of Sunday school until fall. The kids have spent the last few weeks learning about the palms from Palm Sunday and how/why we use them for Ash Wednesday from Mother Gloria. With the help of Mr. Scott we burned dried palms to be used for Ash Wednesday in 2027. We finished learning about different crosses used in different denominations, by specific saints. The children then design and embellished their own cross.

Attention all high-school seniors! The application window for the Mary Kiefer Ward Scholarship is now open. For 23 years, Emmanuel Guild has awarded scholarships to high-school seniors planning to further their education. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, May 18, to the church office. The MarketPlace, full of beautiful hanging baskets, homemade food items and other crafts, will open at 11:00 am for your shopping pleasure.
